The Elkhart County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a FREE Middle School Educator Workshop on August 2nd, 2018 from 12:00p – 4:00p. The workshop will be held at Southgate Crossing (the big red barn/farmers market on the corner of SR19 & CR26). Lunch will be provided.
We’ll be discussing conservation practices around the county and how to incorporate conservation into your classroom – especially through project based learning. We’ll also talk about available programs, lessons, field trips, and incentives available to you for free from the Elkhart County SWCD.
